reduction of stress, anxiety and depression, improves quality of sleep, enhances blood circulation, relief of tension headaches and allergies, aids in digestion and elimination both energetic and physical, increase muscle length, improves structural alignment, and increase awareness of the body mind spirit relationship.

  • Swedish Massage uses gliding, kneading, friction and tapotement techniques that promote general relaxation, improve circulation and aid in muscular restrictions.

  • Deep Massage is a unique soft tissue therapy that works conscioulsly and simultaneously to enhance energy flow as well as structural integrity.

  • Sports Massage is not just for athletes. Everyone can benefit from this upbeat technique that will increase muscle length and flexability, and aid in relief from muscle restrictions, stiffness and spasms.
  • Structural Bodywork incorporates deep massage techniques with an awareness and focus to structural alignment. The integrity of this work is based on the prinicle of a structural and energetic relationship within the body.
  • Reflexology is a finger pressure technique that stimulates specific points along the hands and feet which correlate to the internal organs of the body. Aids in balancing the endocrine system and reducing stress.

  • Zen Shiatsu is a Japanese word that means "finger pressure." Acupressure techniques are applied to specific points along the meridians to promote the movement of ki. Aids in stagnant energy blocks that correlate to the internal organs of the body.
  • Hot Stone Massage incorporates Swedish Massage techniques with heated basalt stones. The specially selected volcanic rock are rich in iron which aids in the absorption and retention of heat. The stones are chosen in various shapes and sizes to massage the neck, shoulders, back, arms, hands, legs and feet. Stones may also be placed along the vertebrae and abdomen for balancing the chakra system. The application of heat, in combination with traditional Swedish massage strokes, calms the nervous system and supports movement of chi along the meridians.

                                                                                    Reiki

rei - spiritual or sacred

ki  - energy

The literal Japanese translation of Reiki is ‘spiritual energy’. Although it has been translated as ‘universal life force energy’ in the West. The ‘spiritual’ translation of the first kanji ‘rei’ may have been left out of the Western translation in appeal to people of all spiritual and religious paths.

The concept of Reiki is neither positive nor negative, but is the combination of these qualities. There is no philosophy or religion attached to it, it is pure energy.

Physical symptoms of illness and dis-ease are the visible result of imbalance in energy. Sickness begins in purest form as energy, before it manifests to a physical state.

Energy flows back and forth between you and the universe which then correlates to the total health and well-being you experience. Any restrictions to either reception or expression of this life energy will result in sickness.

When would I benefit from Reiki?

Reiki can be used in conjunction with any health care, medical treatment and personal growth therapy. Reiki not only aids in the healing process of acute and chronic illness, but is also a preventative tool for possible illness, dis-ease and imbalances.

How can I benefit from Reiki?

Emotional and physical blocks lead to stagnate and depleting ki, life energy. The natural healing system of Reiki regulates and balances the ki as needed specifically for your body. It is designed to strengthen your ki, support healing in physical and emotional trauma, open and align the chakras, and work in conjunction with the internal organs and systems of the body.

How often should I receive Reiki?

Receiving Reiki sessions often will support imbalances and stabilize the natural rhythm of your body. You will be able to recognize physical and emotional symptoms as signals that something within your body is off balance.

Breathe Deep, Walk Slow, and Laugh Often.
